Born and partially raised in a small mountain town in Romania , Valenii de Munte my life journey really began after I moved to Chicago. My passion for photography has always been there. It just had to be discovered. One day in 6th grade, while I was still in Romania, I found a used photo camera in our school garden. I was so fascinated by it that I took it home, disassembled it and inspected every part of it. It was a new world to me. It had “shock danger” sign on the small battery. I really got an intense shock by touching it, after mocking it of course :). Then, I respected the camera and I imagined myself doing what I do today.

             Two years later I found myself creating a new life after I moved to Chicago and I was realizing more and more that my life was about co-creating experiences through image and sound. - And here I am now - 2018
